Differences Between “Free WiFi, “WiFi with a Password,” and “WiFi Without a Password” points

“Free WiFi” (green) – signifies free WiFi without a password.

“WiFi with a Password” (yellow) – represents WiFi points for which users have provided passwords.

“WiFi Without a Password” (red) – indicates points for which no password has been specified, or users have marked the passwords as incorrect.

What Is “Network Name,” and How Does It Differ from “Point Name”?

“Point Name” is the name of the establishment or location where the WiFi point is located, such as a cafe, cinema, university, etc. Users provide this name when adding a point.

“Network Name” is the name of the WiFi network itself.
For example, you may be at a cafe called “Swallow,” but the network there might be named “WiFi free.” “Swallow” is the point’s name, while “WiFi free” is the network’s name.
